The hotel was a unique base for enjoying a good area, near to centre of town. Decent and amicable staff explained where we were staying. There was a good bar on site, liked this place.

Perfect Family Stay with Cozy Comforts
Our family had a good one-night experience here. The electric heaters kept us warm during a chilly evening, and the warm hospitality of the staff made it even better. Don't miss the nearby restaurants, which offer great local dishes to enjoy after a day of exploring.

Had a spacious family room with a lovely view, and the cozy atmosphere. Breakfast, though not served onsite, was recommended at a nearby cafe, and it was delicious! The hotel is currently undergoing upgrades, and I'm hopeful for its future.

This place had a nice spacious room and lovely views. The staff were friendly and the area is beautiful. The food hygiene was concerning and my room needed a deeper clean to address the dust and shower issues. A bit of TLC could really enhance the experience.

The Triple Room was spacious and well-furnished, nice. We had a window for ventilation, and it felt warm and comfy overall. The bathroom was okay, nothing special. I liked the little extras like water bottles and individual shampoo packs. Plus, the staff were super friendly and helpful.

enjoyable strolls near charming landmarks and parks
I loved how close the hotel was to both Ffestiniog Railway and the lovely Oakley Slate Quarries War Memorial. I found myself wandering through beautiful views and interesting history just minutes from my room, and even though the spot could use a little more attention in cleanliness and maintenance, the central position was nice.

We stayed here for a night ahead of our trip to Zipworld, and I was impressed by the spacious room with a fantastic view. The local curry house was a cozy spot for dinner, and the garden area was perfect for enjoying a drink or just relaxing. On the downside, the parking situation could be better, but overall, we had a lovely experience and would come back again! 😊

Recommend it for budget travelers
The bedding was a disaster, no real sheets just a mattress liner! But, the staff helped me out when I asked for more towels, even at midnight, very professional. I was like I was in a low-budget version of a luxury hotel when I got my free sandwich after a long night.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but manageable for what it's worth.

Ideal spot for families with kids
The view from our room was fine, everything was clean and we had a good full Welsh breakfast that was worth every penny.
It wasn't exactly cheap but still acceptable for what we got.

I found the Queens Hotel to be clean and tidy, with a cute atmosphere. The staff were most attentive, assisting me with my luggage and recommending good local cafes nearby. The location was perfect for exploring Snowdonia.
Bathroom door didn't shut properly.

The bed was super comfy and the room was real nice with a cool view. There were great places to eat nearby which was perfect for us. The staff were friendly and helpful. Plus, the free wifi was strong and reliable. Had a cozy stay and felt welcome.
The bathroom door didn't shut properly and the hotel felt a bit dated inside. Parking could be tricky with it being so expensive at £11 per night.
